The combined ticket is valid for the Museum Barberini and DAS MINSK Kunsthaus in Potsdam. The joint house ticket allows entry once each. A visit to both houses is possible on two consecutive opening days. The combined ticket can be purchased without a time slot ticket at the ticket counter in the museum or at the webshop.
Entitled to free admission upon presentation of the necessary proof:
• Children and young people under the age of 18 and school pupils over the age of 18 (Free admission every Thursday from 2 p.m. for young people under 25 with the "Free ticket U 25")
• Recipients of unemployment benefits (ALG 1), "Bürgergeld" (citiziens' allowance) or social benefits, holders of the Berlin Pass, Berlin-Ticket S, VBB Kundenkarte Berlin S, or VBB Mobilitätstickets Brandenburg.
• Recipients of benefits under the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act
• Persons entitled to a residence permit according to § 24 para. 1 AufenthG
• Carers accompanying people with disabilities (confirmed with “B” in disability certificate)
• Holders of a valid Barberini Friends annual ticket or annual pass Plus

Due to the limited number of visitors, we can accommodate at any one time, it is necessary to book a free time slot ticket (€ 0) even if you qualify for free admission. (Exception for children up to the age of 2, holders of Barberini Friends annual pass or annual pass plus).

The entire Museum Barberini is barrier-free and offers elevators and barrier-free WCs. Public disabled parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity. Barrier-free parking spaces are available at the museum for severely disabled people with a parking permit. Please reserve a parking space at least three working days in advance at besucherservice@museum-barberini.de
If you are traveling by public transport, the following stops near the museum are barrier-free: Potsdam Hauptbahnhof, Alter Markt/Landtag and Am Bassinplatz.

Program
Along with the Impressionist collection and three exhibitions per year, visitors to the Barberini can take advantage of a wide-ranging program of lectures, films, concerts, conversations, and readings. The museum also offers daily tours and workshops for participants of all ages—not only in German, but also in English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Russian, and Ukrainian.
Audio guides
Audio guides for adults and children can be found on our Barberini App, which can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store and Google Play.
The Barberini App is your personal companion before, during and after your museum visit and offers audio guides as well as city walks through Potsdam, multimedia content about the exhibitions and interesting facts about the museum's founder and the history of the Palais Barberini.
Café & Restaurant
Come and relax in the Barberini Café & Restaurant after your visit to the exhibition or an event and enjoy tasty light meals, quiches, salads, and delicious cakes. In the summer months, you can also sit outside in the courtyard of the museum with a view of the scenic “Alte Fahrt” waterway of the River Havel and the “Freundschaftsinsel” or Friendship Island – the most beautiful place to round off your visit to the museum!
It is not possible to make a reservation during normal opening hours. However, you are welcome to book the restaurant exclusively for your private event outside normal opening hours: restaurant@museum-barberini.de
Barberini Shop
The museum shop offers selected art books and museum products from all over the world, stylish articles crafted by international artisans, pieces by young designers from German art academies and special gifts suitable for every occasion. An extensive collection of books for children and teenagers rounds off our collection – continuously inspired by the museum’s exhibitions. You can also order catalogs, posters and much more online.

City Walking Tours
Italy, France and Holland in Potsdam - three audio tours of the free Barberini app take you out of the museum and across the city. Accompanied by the voice of Günther Jauch, discover the many buildings and works of art in Potsdam that were created in the 18th and 19th centuries based on Italian models. Learn more about the French influences and connections that have helped shape the city over the centuries. Or be surprised by the numerous Dutch references in Brandenburg's state capital. FAQs
During your visit to the museum, you can hire the Barberini App on your own smartphone. The app not only offers audio tours for adults and children but also service information and editorial content such as video interviews with experts. Museum audio equipment is currently not available.
A free checkroom and lockers are available in the museum. Backpacks, jackets and bags, umbrellas, canes and similar items must be left there. Walking aids may of course be used. No liability can be assumed for the checkroom.
Tickets for group visits of 10 persons or more to the Museum Barberini can be booked regularly via our webshop. Guided tours for groups can be booked on request via our visitor service; all information on booking and cancellation conditions is set out in our terms and conditions. You can buy gift vouchers from the museum cash desk during regular opening hours until one hour before the museum's closing time or online. The vouchers are not linked to specific articles so you can use them to buy annual season tickets, normal entry tickets and food and drinks in the museum café. The gift voucher cannot be used for articles in the museum shop.

Baby carriages and strollers can be taken into all the galleries. Strollers are also available free of charge for the duration of your visit. Please contact our guest services in the foyer if you are interested.
Taking photographs and filming in the galleries is allowed for private purposes but may be restricted for copyright reasons. For more details on this, please ask at the museum. We would like to point out that publishing online or posting them on social media is not considered private use and may, under certain circumstances, violate copyright laws.
