Guided Tour for Groups - Enjoy the originals!
An art historian will guide you through the Hasso Plattner Collection with its over 110 French Impressionist pictures or the masterpieces of the current special exhibition and share fascinating, amusing, and essential facts about the pictures, their stories, and the exhibition concepts. Groups are no larger than twenty people, and audio devices enable you to keep your distance from the other visitors while still asking questions and engaging in conversations about art. Guided tours are available in German, English, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Russian, and Polish.
Introductory lectures for groups
The Museum Barberini offers introductory lectures for groups in the auditorium. Using a digital presentation on the media wall, art educators will introduce you and your participants to either the current exhibition or the Impressionism collection. Afterwards, an individual tour of the museum is possible.
Art Workshop
Group Tours of the Exhibitions Followed by a Workshop in the Studio
In a guided tour exploring the pictures of the collection or of the current special exhibition, participants will first learn about techniques, styles, and subject matter. Afterwards, your group will be guided by an art pedagogue in a workshop in which you can implement the motifs and artistic practices in your own artworks.
Online Live Tour
On the digital tour through the galleries, art historians will guide you through the virtual museum, showing the current exhibition or the collection of French impressionists and explain the paintings in view and in detail. During the virtual 360-degree tour, participants can ask questions or simply listen. Whether private celebration or company incentive: with the live tour you can offer your guests an interactive, shared cultural experience in digital form.
Offer for senior facilities and nursing homes
Barberini on the Road: the Museum Barberini will come to you!
Museum visits are not always possible for groups from senior facilities and nursing homes, so the Museum Barberini is now organizing tours and lectures at your location on topics related to current exhibitions. A guide from the Museum Barberini will give a digital presentation of the exhibition at your institution, showing artworks in high-resolution projections and sharing the stories of the pictures with you.
Fee: 105 euros per group
