Free admission for children, school pupils, and teachers accompanying the group.
Guided Tours
We offer guided tours for school classes and kindergarten groups tailored to age groups and teaching subjects. The 50-minute guided tours are an opportunity to generate a discussion about the works of art in the exhibition rooms.
On request, the tours can be booked weekdays (except Tuesdays) at every full hour. Available in English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Russian, and Polish.

Online Live Tour
The online live tours based on Zoom conferences are suitable for classroom and hybrid teaching. They are offered in English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Russian, and Polish and can enrich the subjects of art, German, history, and foreign language instruction. Teaching materials, videos, craft instructions, and writing prompts are additionally available free of charge in the media library of the museum website.
Ideas for Teachers, Parents, and Grandparents
Our media library includes a wide range of ideas and materials for parents and teachers, ranging from handicraft instructions and an encyclopedia of artists to role-playing and a writing lab – all designed to help you explore the current exhibition together with your children or pupils. All materials are available free of charge.
Training Sessions for Teachers
Each exhibition is accompanied by a training session for teachers from all German states. All teachers attending the training are given an introduction to the topic and educational materials as well as information on the program for school classes for the current exhibitions.
Teacher training sessions will take place on the following dates:

FAQ
Offers for school classes can be booked through our visitor service. When booking, please indicate whether the event is to be held on the Hasso Plattner Collection or on the current temporary exhibition. The age and grade level of the students should also be specified. An invoice address is also required when booking.
Admission to the museum is free for children, pupils, and accompanying teachers. A guided tour for school classes costs 30 euros; the price for a group with a guided tour and workshop is 60 euros.
Cancellation of offers designed for school classes and kindergarten groups is free of charge. Information on this can also be found in our General Terms and Conditions.
All products booked through the Visitor Service, including guided tours and workshops for school classes, are paid for on account. Payment on site at the museum box office is not possible.
