Curator Guided Tour Camille Pissarro at Kupferstichkabinett
The Different Impressionism of Camille Pissarro. Barberini meets Kupferstichkabinett
On the 150th anniversary of Impressionism, the Berlin Kupferstichkabinett is presenting prints by 40 artists from six nations that have rarely or never been shown before: Among others, works by Édouard Manet, Camille Corot, Alfred Sisley, Mary Cassatt, Berthe Morisot, Albert Besnard, Henri Fantin-Latour, James Abbott McNeill Whistler, Joseph Pennell, Anders Zorn, Frank Brangwyn, Anna Duensing, Lovis Corinth, Max Liebermann, Max Slevogt and Lesser Ury. Parallel to the exhibition, the Barberini Museum is showing a spin-off of the “different Impressionism”, namely Camille Pissarro's different Impressionism with works from the Berlin Kupferstichkabinett.
