Founded in 2007 through a collaboration with Brian Ferneyhough, El Perro Andaluz has quickly developed into one of the most versatile ensembles for contemporary music and performance in Germany. The name of the ensemble is a reference to the short film Un chien andalou with its combination of artistic and friendly collaboration, playful provocation and the search for new forms of expression.

Since its foundation in 1996, the Kairos Quartet has developed into one of the internationally active flagship ensembles on the contemporary music scene. Numerous world premieres of contemporary compositions as well as detailed interpretations of dramaturgically strong programs, which are often curated in close contact with composers and event organizers.
