During the academic year 2019–20 seven students from the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) at the University of Potsdam, in collaboration with the Museum Barberini, developed software that aims to improve the museum experience by analyzing anonymized data. In July 2020 the students presented the results of their innovative software development project to museum director Ortrud Westheider and HPI director Christoph Meinel. The innovations and benefits provided by the software are summarized here.
