Children explain Art
Barberini Kids between the age of ten and sixteen present their favorite pictures in the exhibition Monet: Places. What did the French artist find so fascinating about the famous grainstacks? How did he depict the London fog or the clouds on the coast of northern France in his paintings? What is so special about Monet’s art? These are some of the questions answered by Kira, Sophie, Nicola, Eva, and Tom.
Writing Workshop
The video "Children Explain Art" invites school children to explore questions, impulses, and observations about Monet’s paintings in their creative writing. From letters and comics, short or long stories to poems and never-ending tales, there is an endless number of possibilities for creativity to take shape, both alone and with friends, parents, or grandparents.
