Reading with Fabian Hinrichs
From 2000 to 2005, Fabian Hinrichs was a company member at Volksbühne at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin. There, he worked with directors like Leander Haußmann, Frank Castorf, Christoph Schlingensief and René Pollesch. Since 2005, he has also been working at other theatres and festivals, including Münchner Kammerspiele, Schauspiel Köln, Burgtheater Wien, Wiener Festwochen and Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg. He has received several awards for his work, including the Max-Ophüls-Preis, Alfred-Kerr Acting Award and Ulrich-Wildgruber-Preis. Since 2008, Fabian Hinrichs has been writing and producing his own theatre productions and essays. He has also appeared in numerous film and television productions since 2003, currently as Kommissar Felix Voss in Tatort.
For the Museum Barberini, he read selected texts by Lev Tolstoy and Anton Chekhov in the exhibition Impressionism in Russia. Brigitte van Kann has selected the text passages. Video: German only
